For our new customers (and as a reminder to everyone) a outline of how we continue to ensure ultimate safety in our kitchens. We understand the serious nature of Covid-19 and want to allay any concerns.
We have always maintained an Excellent rating with the department of health (the highest rating, very difficult to achieve and maintain).
Our hand washing protocol has always been the same as what the CDC is now recommending for the general public to avoid the virus. We use latex gloves in all food preparation.
We use a high-heat sanitizing dishwasher. 165 degree wash and 185 degree rinse.
All food is cooked to required temperatures (different temps for different proteins) of at least 145 degrees. Viruses are killed at 140 degrees. We do recommend that all food is heated to 165 degrees internally before eating. You may also wipe the containers with a disinfecting wipe as they come into your house.
Our menu typically includes Buddha Bowls, Salads and Fresh Cut Veggies. For the time being, we are only offering items that can be heated.
We have temporarily halted the use of reusable bags for weekly delivery. Please do return any that you have as we will return to using them once we have an approved disinfecting protocol in the months ahead.
Our delivery drivers will be wearing masks and gloves and will adhere to strict social distancing protocols. Thank you to all of you have been so generous with your gratuities, it has been such a rough time financially and they truly appreciate it.
