On week two of my soup obsession! It apparently runs in the family, my daughter called from Montana with a few new soup ideas for me to try. It is already snowing there, so soups are a daily necessity. Check out her Bacon Garlic Chickpea Soup and Wild Mushroom Soup spiked with sherry, yum! A new dish she now loves is Chicken with Dumplings, a soul warming soup-like entree. I have also added a seasonal Pear and Sweet Potato Farro Salad, vegetarian and so hearty. The Pot Roast this week is Paleo - basically the same delicious recipe, just no potatoes.

Freshly washed and cut veggies (red, yellow and orange bell peppers, broccoli, carrots, jicama, and celery) in 2 large reusable containers. Colorful, ready-to-eat snack at eye-level in the fridge makes veggies an easy choice when looking for something to munch on.
